Let’s Clean up

Let's Clean Up the trash!!

With 246 million tons waste every Year it's time for Action!
The least we could do are to clean up after us self, if you cleaned up after yourself, and Multiplied with let's say 5.000.000.000 people, then you are doing something good for the Environment, not to mention Yourself.
And  there are enough to handle every day, with 246 million tons waste every year.
But it's not to late, you just have to think what you can do for the Environment & Pollution and hopefully your Nabo will follow.
Out of this 246 million tons of trash, the half of the garbage are food and paper. Organic trash -- food we eat, food animals eat, horticultural waste --  makes up about half of global solid waste, and paper and plastic add another 27%.
But it's not to late, you just have to think what you can do for the Environment & Pollution and hopefully your Nabo will follow.

Government officials, Students and Local residents joined a mass clean-up, effort Friday morning on the coast of Freedom Island, Metro Manila, to mark Earth Day.
Around 700 people congregated on the island, also known as the Las Pinas-Paranaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area, which is a haven for migratory birds and marine life, and a natural shield against typhoons.
But the important and picturesque ecological area is threatened by garbage that washes up there from Metro Manila.
Armed with gloves and sacks, volunteers got to work sifting through the piles of trash that litter the coastline.
